Valve Body Mod

Ok i finally got my settlement check and will be going to Jeff in New York to get my Valve Body Mod and tranny cooler done. However im doing so based on a post a few months back asking what mod i should get done to my 02 auto. Now, i've searched the org but to no avail on finding out what exactly the valve body mod does for the car. Can anyone inform me?

I have it on mine.

In theory, yes it should make it faster. In the 1/4, there are only 2 shifts, so ...

Reason I got it was because my stock one was said to be dying, so I got a modified one with some added what seems like performance(I've never tracked it before or after so I have no data)

Another theory is that is reduces heat with less friction (quicker shifts), in return, prolonging the life of the transmission.

Eh...I don't know about the performance enhancement of it. But my 2K has had the mod for over 100,000 miles with a tranny cooler. I haven't experienced any issues with the tranny at all. I also switched to Mobil 1 synthetic at that time.
