Exhaust Noob

Ok guys Im looking for that G35/ 350Z exhaust sound. So that last time I reaserched this I found that the manufatuere of those exhaaust systems is Remus. So now I;m in the market for just the two mufflers that I can add onto my stock piping. I dont know much about this but is this possible? and will it cause any type of trouble later on? also I checked the site and they have diffrent names under the Nissan lineup on the remus webiste. Nothing says Maxima so I dont know which to invest in. Please let me know and please give your opinions on this matter. good and even bad. thanks agian and thanks for your time.

I keep on going back and forth between the Cattman or a custom exhaust (14815 Magnaflow mufflers and then just 2.25 or 2.5 piping) Price wise, I think that custom piping would be better, but the SS part is the only better part on the Cattman imo...

Try equal (or near equal length) length headers.

I was thinking that too, but for two remus mufflers it would cost me as much as the entire Cattman setup.

well i would think the best course of action would be get the cattman setup (don't hate me brian) and if you don't like the drone do like something one else and place the resonator...

however inorder to do it right you should goto a real exhuast dealer. and get a larger and longer resonator...

i think thats the best course of action. buh sorry if i offend anybody by doing so...

I have the greddy sp2 and most people dont like the sewer pipe look but it has the closest sound to the G/Z imo and im kinda use to the look but its perfect with no drone but loud enough to let others know that there is something not stock plus i have a fujita intake and combined it sounds awesome when i get on it.

I VIK I, I have stock piping with just the added Magnaflows (for now) and that's pretty much ther sound you get. The intake adds a bit more growl as well...

I read its a good setup but the single tips are killing me. So many would invest in this setup if it were dual tips, why isn't greedy accommodating all of us?

Do you have any updates on the headers development? And how much is it going to run?
