Clarion In Dash DVD Q's

JUST WAIT A SEC! DONT MOVE ME! IM IN THE RIGHT SPOT!!!!

the questions are as follows.

1. Where did u guys put your IPOD? I have a cord that runs out the back of my dvd player, but im not sure where to put the ipod. My deck makes it so u do not have to touch the ipod to change the songs, its all on the deck...

2. Where did u guys mount your switch so you can watch dvd's while driving? I was thinking about in the cup holder compartment between the two cup holders.. is that a bad idea? should i drill there???

3. Where did you guys put your gain control "bass control" ?

I hate to think you'd actually try and watch dvds while driving but oh well.

Anyways for my bass control, I had it mounted up near the bottom of the driver's seat so I could have easy access to it at all times. I just quickly reach down there and adjust it anytime I want. It's pretty convenient

why would you intentionally post a question in the wrong forum?
The people who would be able to best answer this question are in the right forums where you should have posted this. . .

for the head unit to control the ipod, it would have to have been made with the ipod in mind and have a special cable that would go from the head unit to the ipod in order to control the ipod and display song titles. IF not then you'd just need to plug it into aux port and change it with the ipod.

Its not a stereo question, so its not in the wrong forum, I just wanted your opinions on where you placed your stuff. Good call on the Seat mount for the bass control.

To put that IPOD connector in the glovebox, did you need to drill?? I tried for about 5 mins to run the cord up but was unsuccessful.

And yes, it was MADE for the ipod, the damn cord was 99 bucks. All of my toys are working right, I just wanted to see if anyone had any better ideas for mounting then I do.

97 cupholders = 99 cupholders, right? That looks to me like it should be a good spot for a switch. Plus, that whole cupholder assembly just lifts right out, so it's easy to work with.

I might try to put a second 12v outlet in that spot, if it's small enough in diameter to fit.

Sweet, I never knew it lifts right out. Do I need to unscrew anything??? or just get a flat head in there and start prying?

Mine is locked in place by a single metal clip on the center of the left side. If you lift the right side out first, it should slide out.

Do you have to do anything to them rubber nubs? mine has lil rubber nubs that it looks like you would have to squeeze them to pull the cupholder out. I will play with it tonight.
