rx8: fair race or crappy driver???

the other night i pulled up next to an rx8 5sp, no engine mods that i know of. he was a kid i knew from high school, the light turned green, i didnt really think he was gonna take off but he did. so i went trying to keep as much traction as i could through first gear when my car shifted into second (auto) i floored it and i caught right up to him. we got up to around 60 before the next light came and i let of the gas before he did. right as we were both slowing down the next light turned green and we went again, and again it was pretty much even. i think i started to pull away but i left off before we hit 65. i thought those cars was fast. was it just the driver or did i pretty much win?????

I'm sorry to inform you but rotaries are total pieces of fawkin sh1te.. A fully built 13b is panzy compared to say a built RB, JZ or any other power house.

Sure, for drifting 13k RPM are nice.. That's about it. They are also unreliable, unefficient and they use so much friggen oil its ridiculous.
