Crazy amount of fumes and smell from exhaust

Ive began to realize the amount of fumes and smell thats been coming from the car right when its been started up. While i wait for it to warm up, theres a cloud of fumes/smog or whatever along with a slight smell of some sort.

I dunno what it is or how to fix it somehow. Would any type of cleanerr, like fuel injector cleaner work?

How does the engine run/idle? Are the exhaust fumes a certain color (white, bluish, etc). Does it go away quickly?

head gasket. check your rad level. and before people chime in telling you to buy a new motor there are means to seal the leak that are relatively inexpensive.

Perfectly normal to see your exhaust on a cool day. It's called condensation, a by product of combustion. It smells a bit because a cold engine runs rich until it reaches normal operating temp.

There is nothing wrong with you car.

Same thing happened to me the other day. I started my car at about 6am and it was about 50 degrees outside. There was a huge white cloud coming from the back of my exhaust. But if you just let your car warm up for 5-10mins the smoke will disappear and the fumes will go away.

Condensation usually goes away quickly. A minor head gasket leak will smoke until the coolant in the oil has burned off so just because it stopped does not mean there isnt a problem. To be safe, check the radiator (not just the resevoir bottle). If it isnt full as it should be, time to do some more investigating.

do you have a catalyctic converter or a straight pipe in your exhaust?
