2k1 max and I30 ECM swapable?

Hi all I'm currently looking to buy new ECM for my I30 and located some for maxima. Can you guys tell me if maxima's ECM will work in I30? It's kinda hard to find one w/ traction control.
Thanks.

It does on the A32... More than likely 'yes' on the A33. Just make sure you get the right one (i.e. AT vs. MT etc...)

Right. You could probably run just about any A33 ECU and have the car run... but you might have a CEL or 2 in there. There ia a lot of variation from year to year and from trim to trim.

I guess they're are interchangeable. Try to find out a VIN number of any I30 w/ TC vs Maxima w/ TC and you'll be able to compare their's part numbers. This is the first step i would go...

Was TCS that rare of an option on the I30? All but one I30 I looked at had it.
