The other day it started to rain in NYC and water started leaking in on the rear seats from my sunroof. Has anyone else had this problem and what should I do? Go to a Nissan dealership to get this fixed or someone who specializes in sunroof repair?

Hey aren't You...

...the guy who does not have a the sliding shade?
That is your problem. The sliding shade not only keeps the sun out, but it also has a piece of rubber on the back that completes the seal when the windows is closed. I used to get leaks when I went through those automatic car washes.

But as I said before , factory shade replacement is expensive. Just go get one from a junk yard that matches your interior (most are grey). Here are some instructions:

It is necessary to remove the glass:

There are 2 screws under the glass that hold 2 plastic covers in place. Remove them. Take out the 4 bolts that hold the glass on, and then remove the glass. Take out (or put in) the shade, being careful not to damage the hook rails on the sides. Put the glass back on...etc..
