Best Strut/Sway Bars

my car is starting to get a little sloppy on the road, i think mainly because my tires are shot, but i deff want to stiffen up the feel of the car with strut and sway bars. i have my stock sawblades on now but will be putting on my ssr gt1 18's soon. i also have h&r springs with kyb agx adjustables. suspension is fine. just curious to know how everone feels about strut and sway bars. and the best place to buy them. thanks!

FSTB are def worth it, makes the car feel nice and stable, relatively speaking. As for the best place to buy them? Well, a simple PM to me will get you a good deal on a used Stillen FSTB.

Sorry for the hijack in advance, but...doesn't the RSB promote understeer quite badly in our cars?

Already got the FTSB btw Swazey and it's practically a prerequisite for a 4th Gen Maxima, it's night and day from stock especially if coupled with springs (nothing crazy necessary - just an inch drop and you'll feel the difference in the 'tightness' in corners) and decent springs.

Only had experience with the Stillen FTSB - works fine for me but according to FrontPage it's the most expensive one out there...

megan racing sells FSTB and Springs for our cars as well. the springs provide the most drop i've seen for our cars @ 2.0" rear and 2.2" front. the spring rate is also better than the Stech's and i got quoted for 160 canadian so i might try them.

Um... I'm not sure where people here are getting their info , but increasing rear "roll" spring rates (adding an RSB) will promote oversteer and reduce understeer. IIRC a FSTB is sort of noticeable, but not THAT noticeable. I have Koni yellows and love them, they're awesome paired with Progress springs, although you do need to kind of pay through the nose for Konis.

Got Eibach Pro-Kits mated to KONIs with a Stillen FTSB - I reckon the strut brace makes a big difference but that's opinion. The RSB apparently makes an even bigger difference.
