35 LIM Q's

I'm assuming that the 35 LIM between the FWD and the Z/G VQ are identical. Just want somebody to confirm this if they can.

Once that is confirmed I can ask; is the LIM perfectly symetrical? In other words, can it bolt between the heads in either direction? If not what are the restrictions?

They're not the same. Different part numbers. This is why people have had to use the Z LIM when swapping the upper.

I thought your thread title meant you had thirty-five questions about the LIM.

Funny Neal.

Thanks for the heads up guys. I guess I'll have to see how much I can get the Z hardware for. Basically, I'm thinking of using a Z33 system. I'm hoping to turn it around, cut off the OEM TB elbow and weld on my own setup so I have a center mounted TB over the timing chain cover.

I have the whole setup for sale, 200 shipped.

Sent a PM to you. Since you have that I guess I should say that I'm interested in a set of used cheap DE-K topfeeds. As long as they work I don't care how old they are. I only need them to work for one year and then I'm moving to 550's.

New bit of info suprised me very much. I thought the reason the 30LIM didn't work with the 35 heads was because they were oval. This site is disclaiming that. I'm totally at a loss. I thought all 35's had oval intake ports and thus allowed for the use of the Z33 system. WTF? I'm p!ssed. Is this info correct? If so how are you guys using the Z33 systems on the FWD 35 heads? Port matching?

That first site is plain wrong. All Gen II VQ35's use the same head casting (Maxima/Altima/Quest/Murano/350Z/G35/FX35 etc.).
