Car dies shifting from 3 to 4th when redlined
Ok for some reason It only has happen 3 times now but When shifting from 3rd to 4th (ONLY) redlining at 7300rpms the car just dies. You have Zero thorttle response. The engine will not cut off but for about 10 seconds you have no throttle response at all. Im wondering what it could be> I know some 95's had a speed limiter But when I first got the car I checked that out and it went right on passed the limit spot. Last month on the dyno in 4th it went like well it bared the 140 mark
. So why would the car die. Here is my mods
Dek engine 00vi
12.5 degrees advanced timing
13.3 A/f
Cai
Budget y pipe
Greddy cat back
no cat
Underdrive pulley
Walterboro fuel pump

What is your A/F reading as the car shuts off ?? Does it go Supper Rich then shut off ?? Seems like when your TB closes, your injectors are dumping fuel perhaps.
Doesnt do it 2nd to 3rd ?? or 1st to 2nd ?
