All the timing chain swaping crap and taking the risk of realigning the timing components on the VQ is what drives the price up. I say anyone getting this swap done by someone else is looking at at least 1000$ labor.

<-------$1200 labor, 2-week turnaround, 1-month back-up for major jobs right now, I also have needed 3.0 equipment to reduce cars downtime if motor is brought for prepping in advance, (core required after swap)

yup, cam adaptors ($125 stephenmax here on .org) plus an rpm window switch to control the 3.5 VI ($40 HERE), an adjustable fpr (buy an aeromotive off flea-bay for $125), and about $75 worth of seals/o-rings from nissan, any other small misc. things will be considered 'shop supplies' and they will be supplied by me.

As for references, I have one on the .org so far, you can read it HERE or pm lilaclucy. You can also call a good freind of mine who happens to be my best customer so far. His name is Kurt @ 774-263-2921, I rebuilt the 5-speed tranny in his ford ranger and he has since put about 30k on it and I'm currently beefing up his t45 mustang trannsmission and assembling a long-block 4.6l dohc mustang motor w/700+hp @ 15psi boost for him. Also, by the time I am ready to take in any more major jobs I will be done with my own 3.5 swap and you're more than welcome to take it around the block before leaving me your car. Any questions feel free to pm me, I was gonna pm all this info to ya but I figured it kinda fits into the thread subject, hope nobody minds. Thanks
