This is how the deal went after i posted a WTB for a Bose Cd Changer i get this pm After agreeing w/the sale price:

on 11/4

this goes on until 11/07 when it was supposedly shipped. a week later i receive the unit and install it to find out it's defective and has the infamous cd err f3. so i send him a pm

then...

So i file a claim with ups. they told me a week later that i have to contact the local ups store that shipped it. i call them but the manager claims he can only deal with the shipper. so i told sickmax to deal with the ups store.

LOL @ all the run arounds. Man, I really dont think UPS damaged it. It's a coincidence that around the time you get the unit, the infamous CD ERR happens? LOL. BS! Give the man back his full payment, and i would advise the buyer just get a aftermarket unit.

 

Dude, sickmax deserves a negative feedback for sending an item that isn't in working condition. Give him is money back already you tool.

Even if it was left out in the rain, it must have been a big flood or that it was pouring hard to soak a box and get the item wet.

We'll see about the so called check being sent out tomorrow. Cause there might be another death in the family or that a "family member" got in a horrible accident.

Like I really care whos deal it is. I don't like seeing a org member get screwed by another member. Its takes you almost 4 months to "almost" resolve this issue. Karma is a b!+ch, what goes around comes around.

I know this much,..we have this family mentality on this org, we look out for each other since we share a common but strong bond. SICKMAX i am not going to put you down here I want to make that clear right off the bat.

I understand there is alot in your life going on, we all have that to various degrees, Doing right by your fellow orgers is paramount here because all you really have on this forum is your word,.. Thats it!!! Last summer I went through a bad divorce, death of two good friends, loss of income, my hospitalization. I still delivered. I put my business on the shelf to give myself a breather for a month afterward. Got back in the game and its better than ever now. Point is Excuses do not fly here or anywhere for that matter. Live by what you say is very important!!!! trust me I know,... I run 6th element engineering, If i dont deliver when I recieve the money, I lose a valuable customer and friend. As a result I would probably lose others trust as well as a result. I know i wouldnt want that, i think you dont want that either IIAC (if I am correct). I am just saying just do the right thing by the situation. Its all about your word on here. Good luck.

i can look past this, However i am not the one in the situation. i certainly can respect you trying to rectify the situation. From my perspective I dont feel that this will happen again.

glade u got it and it is resolved. i was just waiting to get my refund from ups to pay u back but i guess it wasn't fast enough. im glad this was resolved and i hope u have better luck with ur future purchases.

 

I might be a little late on this one, but I've dealt with sickmax in the past and hadn't had a problem with the transaction, albeit face to face and not over the internet.

Glad you guys got it worked out. It has become increasingly difficult to get refunds over the internet- this just goes to show you what kind of board the ORG is and how quickly an amicable resolution can come from certain communities.

BTW - Sickmax, you're only the 'lowest 5th gen in CT' because I got out of the game cousin.

 

sickmax is my best friend...i was with him the majority of the times that he went down to UPS to claim these things and trust me, they gave him the run around...

dont see it being his fault and im not just saying that from a friends standpoint

 

sickmax is a good kid, ive dealt with him numerous times and hes a stand up guy, no problem with him

 

bought his door panels off of him. excellent price, and drove all the way out here to give 'em to me on christmas eve. the only complaint is that he tried to touch me........just kidding. he's a good person, **** happens.

Well sickmax is a good guy. Everyone that I know hasn't had a problem with him. So this was just an unfortunate circumstance that he rectified and shouldn't have any hold on anyone dealing with him in the future.
