ok....i know its not a maxima, but my friend has a 2001 infiniti qx4 and wants to be able to only turn on the foglights w/ out the headlights on.....is it similar to the maxima foglight rewire?? please any info will help

 

It will be the same concept of re-wiring the fog relay with the clearance lights since those can go on without the headlights. Have him check a Nissan forum like NICO where there will be moer QX4 owners. If there's no one who can help him, I'd suggest picking up a Haynes manual because it has full wiring diagrams for the electrical system so he should be able to figure it out knowing the general concept of how it's done.
