buy a new led strip! Give us some details! Did you put the spoiler on yourself? if you did did you wire it correctly? details, details.

I actually have the same problem with my third brake light... The LED strip is on the factory spoiler, and many of the LED's have burned out I assume. I noticed the screws that hold the third brake light in, but I don't see how anyone can get to them without removing the entire spoiler first. Anyone have instructions on removal of your third brake light on an OE spoiler? (97 SE).

A guide somewhere would be awesome.

you can purchase a 90 degree bent screw driver that will fit inbetween the spoiler and the trunk and help you to remove the orginal led strip.
First, I would check the connector to see if it's still good. Mine had basically turned to dust so I just removed the connector, soldered the wires together and was good to go.
Just make sure to get the polarity right or it wont work no matter what.

my connectors were just corroded so all i had to do was clean them and they worked. samething happened to my license plate lighting
