what kind of video headunit do you have or like

i want to see what kind of video headunit do people have or like. i personally had avic n1,n2,n3, clarion 755, and kenwood 911. i am in the market again and would like some recommendation. first is picture quality, ease of controls for adjustment, features, and lastly installation difficulty. also size of unit such as double din or flip out. both have there pro and con. any pics installed would be great as well.

well the avic n3 are nice and compact. i personally have gotten 3 for my friends and they love it. it has a bypass switch on the bottom unlike the old models so you can play the video while driving. i think i might just go back to getting another n3 and be done with it. it has all the feature and compact. i just wanted a bigger screen 7in. the screen does seem pretty small in the max dash

im kinda touchy when it comes to brand name also, i work at best buy and i've seen the dual touch screen which really isnt that bad, one of my friends has it in his 01 chevy malibu, i like the radio functions on it better than the kenwood's but i like to have name brand in certain things, i paid 350 for the kenwood double din ($1000) retail, cant beat that, and i got an 8" flip down with it but i didnt put that in... im not sure on the dual's durability, but so far so good ( approx. 5 months)

they thread is starting to take some attention. keep the pics up loaded. i will post mine once installed. i prefer the all in one unit. don't like to add or buy extra items for it to be complete such as the alpine.

I don't think that I would ever use the navi. function so why would I pay for it? A map book is way cheaper and for somethings there's nothing wrong with doing it the old fashioned way.
yeah, that kenwood deck does look nice.

the main reason i want the all in one is that i do use my navi. Also i had the kenwood. i like the display it has. very kool. only thing i don't like is the way the motorized face moves in and out. it seems a bit loose and rough. my firend still has my old one for 2 years now with no problem though. its just my preference.

I would really like to get that in the near future.

But for now I have a Kenwood which I like, but that Pioneer you can't beat the price for everything you get.

775 us converted to Canadian $ = ~900 + shipping ~40 plus 3% for paypal. Apx 970 Canadian. That's a pretty good price, but then install and wire harness say 50. And I'm not ready to get a whole system yet. Oh, I can't forget ups brokerage fees....
thanks for the offer.
That is probably the best price I've seen on the internet for that unit.
