FOr last 15 days O/D light on my car is blinking.
From stickies I got procedure to retrieve TCU codes and in that 3rd JF is long. Which basically means TPS is either short circuited or TPS connection is broken.

I got new TPS about 6months back, Question is
1) can TPS go bad so soon?
2) How can I put external ground to TPS & VSS
3) Will paying stealer to hook up consult provide some precise indication (its costing me 130$ to diagnose on consult?)

 

Check the wiring to the TCM. All TCM sensors use the same GND wire, check it to see if it's shorted/damaged. It's under and behind your gearshift console, tight spot.
