Fuel Injectors

I'm going to attempt to check my Fuel Injectors tomorrow, and I have a strong feeling my car won't be operational after I try so I was just wondering a few things.

First, What do I do with the Ignition/Cruise Control cables?

how gentle do I need to be with injectors?

And are new O-rings necessary? Or will it work without new ones?

Also, any tips would be appreciated and any troubles you ran into taking of the Upper IM

definetly buy new O-rings from Nissan. The old ones will no longer serve their purpose well once they are taken out due to the rubber's age and not being able to compress back properly. The car can throw a code and cause a misfire if new ones are not installed.
