Burning smell on highway?

Last weekend, on 2 separate occasions, I got a burning smell after passing somebody at high RPMs on the highway. The smell is exactly that of a burning clutch, but I have an automatic. Any thoughts?

I think it may be caused by gunk burning off somewhere, did u notice any smoke from the exhaust in the rear view mirror ?

he probably has an exhaust leak at the headers or something so when he accelerates hard, it leaks more and u smell it in the cabin thats all.

Yup, i get the same thing most of the time. What you can do is push that circulation button so no outside air comes in.
