Im assuming you're asking about aftermarket sleeves... not that Im aware of. The VQ35 has quite a few companies that make sleeves for it, never heard of any for the 3.0.

How much are you planning to boost the VQ30 anyways? With a good tune on ignition and fuel, the stock motor can take 12psi all day, and 15psi is not common but its been done before. What are your goals for this swap?

The Darton VQ35 sleeves will most likely work.

I actually e-mailed them about it and the guy would not do it. He told me about the blocks having different castings and whatnot. I know it SHOULD work, but thats what they told me.

And if you are going to build a VQ30, you should trust the factory sleeves, and destroke a VQ35 with VQ30DET crank and rods. The VQ32 using forged VQ30DET stuff WILL hold as much power as you would possibly want to throw at it, WITH all the benefits of the VQ35 heads and lower compression. It is the cheapest, less risky and most efficient way of doing it.

And that way you can slowly build the VQ35 while your old VQ30 is still in your car running.

Junkyard VQ35 = 600-800$
VQ30DET crank = 500$ (online)
VQ30DET rods = 700-1000$
Then ARP crank case & Head studs + HKS Headgasket = not sure exactly but it cant be that steep

Is the DET crank different than the 30DE crank? Actually as I type this I think I'm remembering that the DET has larger main bearings or rod bearings or something?
