Well I as I practice more with my new 5spd, and get the hang of it, I've started to catch some little issues. I know how to drive the car, occasionally I do shut out... (let go of the clutch too fast) but in all I can shift smoothly, and I've caught on to how to do a nice burnout... but anyhow... I've noticed there's a tapping noise (metal tapping metal) coming from the tranny (right under the shifter) thru to the front passanger fender (some where in between those locations... i'm leaning more towards the tranny... One of my buddys says its a tranny mount, my buddy who;s a mechanic says it could be that... or a bad strut, its only when the car is in 1st (needing gas) and once I shift into 2nd the beginning of second... once I have speed... you no longer hear it....occasionally only when I shift.... (you hear it slightly)

what do you guys think it could be?

P.S. I'm LOVING THE 5spd
