so i just bought an 03 maxima. i believe its the lightest silver they make. off the top of my head i think glacier pearl? and when i bought it there were many door scratches so i made sure they detailed it and touched it up. problem is all the touch up spots i swear do not match and they look like the sand color or dark gray color. does everyones touch up paint match well here? and can anyone post the touch up paint code for each type of paint. i'm sorry i havnt really researched this the best i could but i'm trying to have the dealership take care of this as soon as possible. thanks

 

I have a Grey Lustre Metallic 02, color code KV3. That's all I know tho...

 

The paint code will be on a metal label located on the passenger side of the engine bay.

 

Ive noticed than when Ive touched up silvers and golds the paint darkens up as it dries.Even when using the same paint the car was painted with.Dont know why though.

 

so i looked on my firewall and it says KY0 (sheer silver) and the touch up paint they gave me says i believe KJ1...so its the wrong color they used correct? what color is or car is KJ1

 

That's not a maxima paint code...That's the 'beige pearl' color for the altima. I'd go back there and tell them they fuxored up.
