How to change Starter

I couldn't find a write up on this so posting it here. I have a 97 GXE and need to change the starter on it. Often it gets stuck and won't turn, I can get it to work after tapping on it with a rod or something else. Can someone please tell me how to change it Step by Step or have any drawings showing how to do that. Thanks.

disconnect the batter and move your intake assembly. unhook the hot wire and ground plug to the starter. then take out the two bolts. If I remember right the one closest to the radiator is a 14mm and the one closest to the fire wall is a 17. after the bolts are out the starter will pull out.

By some strange coincidence, I changed the starter on my 95 SE this morning. Yes, the bolts are 14 and 17mm. I completely removed the battery and intake up to the intake manifold to make room, and I didn't have problem breaking loose the bolts with my cheapo 6" ratchet set.

I also replaced the fuel filter, cleaned up my grounding points, cleaned the IACV and replaced the battery while I was in there, took me about 10 hours total, I left the battery at AutoZone to charge overnight and get tested.

Thank you all for replying. I got the starter from the wreckers today ($70), will change it this weekend.
