HELP!!! How do I crimp 4 gauge power wire??

i'm trying to install some amps. Having trouble crimping the wire to the piece that attaches the wire to the battery though. Anyone? Anyone? thanks in advance.

Thats a non-insulated loop I presume. I believe most wire stripers dont have a non-insulated crimper for anything above 10 gauge thickness, but when I did mine, I think I placed the end on a board, then hit a screwdriver with a hammer into the collar. If it's a good fitting, it should be a seamless collar, and therefore you should get a decent crimp. If worse comes to worse, torch it and solder, then cover it up with color matching heat shrink. It'll look fine.

I crimped 4 ga. wire to a ring terminal using 2 pliers.
One with a semi-sharp edge to crimp the actual wire and
the second to squeeze the handles of the first.

Use a vise if you've got one, or go bum a favor off your local shop.

even better get a 4 guage ring term with

a screw down... screw there pretty cheap
