my starter went out last month.. so i changed it. car was starting for 4 weeks and then its giving me a problem about hard to start. when its hot it cranks up fast. when its cold it takes pretty long time to start and i smell gas. you think my spark plugs are bad?? i havent changed it since i got the car. my car has 118K on it.

 

Change the plugs and see if it helps. You smell gas cause your sitting there cranking your car.

your mileage tells me you might have recently replaced your clutch maybe?
