flapping noise from behind glove box..

There is an anoying flapping door noise coming from behind the glove box of my cousins 94 maxima SE auto. I have tried to pinpoint were exactly and closest I got after pulling out glove box was it sounds like its coming from the white cylinder that the blower motor goes in. Is there a flap in their that goes bad anyone else had this problem? Is their a fix to this?

Thanks in advance

I know theres a flap there that you open and close by the blower motor. my plastic clip broke. I think it controls when you move the ac lever from cold to hot. Or that other button that goes up and down on the ac to let air circulate. one of them two

Does it sound like a leaf or something blew into the blower housing? You should be able to remove the blower by removing the three bolts, the electrical connector and the cooling tube. Then look in the housing and see if a bird or something blew in. It could also the a broken cooling tube flapping.

this is a constant flap noise even when the keys is in Acc(sp?) second click before starting. is its stops for 5 minutes or so and then continues. I did a search and some have said to unplug the harness for the a/c heat controls I dont see how that will stop it. I ahve already tried by unpluging the blower motor and the siver unit that is faciing directly behind the glove and no dice the noise is still there. Any one get any luck by unplugging the harness behind the a/c heat controls?

try pulling the fuse that controls your blower motor and stuff, and seeing fi that helps anything

ok, so I unpluged a plug that powered the Intake door motor? what is this things function? Is it vital for the A/C heat system to work. It was pleasent not to hear the noise after I unplugged it.

so do you think its the unit the power plug goes into or the lever that is moved by the powering unit? Once in a while I go to a pull parts place, so I want to know what to buy thanks in advance

OH MY GOD! you hear this sound too!?!?! this tocking (as opposed to ticking) noise has been driving me insane as well. first it was only heard when i had the vents only on "feet" position, now it comes on at random intervals no matter what position (even when off).
