Another rattling noise solved
Another rattling noise solved
If you have a rattling sound that seem to be coming from the passenger side, trying checking the dome lights by the sunglass tray. While driving, the noise is hard to pin point until you shift your head towards the middle of the car. I held my finger up on one of the lights and the rattling went away. This one had me going for a while.
Oh, I forgot to add how to solve the problem.
I applied silicone chauking around the edges of the clear covers to buffer the contact. Inside of the light housing are these silver plates which can be loose and cause slight rattling as well. I'd just jammed something by the side to tighten them up. With this rattling gone, now I start to hear the other more subtle rattlings like the glove compartment. For this I saw a service bulletin. The roof handle bars can also cause slight rattling when going over bumps.
