How to setup summit rpm switch on the road more accurately
How to setup summit rpm switch on the road more accurately
(wasn't technical enough for All Motor.. and not really Y pipe enough for 4th gen)
You would have to be sooo Lucky to accurately set it on the road by naked eye..
Solution? I blue tacked my camera to my laptop, fired up the Conzult software, blue tacked the Summit RPM switch to the latop too. Check out the video.. I was able to go in slow motion and you can see the led start to slowly light up which is the actual openning point not when its glowing bright green.. your also meant to activate 50rpms before desired rpm to allow actuator to open.
Optimal activation point varies between cars.. and I'm not even sure that mines right yet.

*YOUTUBE VIDEO 5500RPM*
If you look at this picture you will see why its impossible to fine tune with naked eye..
see how 5262 is when the light starts to turn on.. not when its glowing 40rpms later at 300
