Saying goodbye

Hey all,

I've sold my last 4th Gen Maxima as my life requires me to have more trunk space... aka family + kids. I've owned Nissan Maxima's for almost 8 years now. First one was a 5 speed 95 SE and I sold my last 99 SE 5 speed on Saturday.

It's been a pleasure interacting with all of you because we are all passionate about our cars. The Maxima is a funny bird - you either love it or hate it. For me, it was a bit of both. Dealing with the ignition coils, gearbox issues, early alternator failure and other small quirks was disappointing to say the least. What I love about my car? It's a wolf in sheeps clothing, especially the MT 5 speeds. I've had a lot of fun with my car. The 9007 mod, cruize mod, FSTB, pop charger, exhuast pipes, etc.. all these little tricks we did to improve our Maxima performance - and the fact it's EASY PEAZY to work on. The car corner likes it's on rails

Plus you guys have made this forum appreciate the car we love. The work by JSutter, Sonic, Bags, deezo, matt calder, phenryiv1 - I have to note it because they support this family and community. We are a Maxima family and we support one another through this forum.

I already miss my car because she was worth the ride, even though she had issues (what car doesn't?). So long guys... have fun with the best car I ever owned.

Ride free.

Hear hear, well said. Good luck with things in the future... mind me asking what you're driving now that you've gotten rid of the max?
