99 Serpentine help!

99 Serpentine help!

Can't tell the proper procedure for replacing the serpentine belt from the half drawing I found in the stickies...little help? Car's on jacks and I am losing daylight!

you can check out the motorvate instructions for alternator replacement, that may assist you in removing the belt:

theres just a tensioner if you look by the passenger side engine mount...loosen the nut on the pulley a bit, then get a socket with a long extension on the top part and loosen it up....take off the old belt, but on the new one....be done.

14mm ratchet wrench, ratchet w/ extension and 14mm socket, and you're done.

You might as well replace the power steering belt while you are at it.

If you do that later, you will have to remove the drive belt and install both of them.
