HKS Pistons and Connecting Rods... can they work our swaps?

I tried searching around the org for this questions, but I guess I wasnt placing the words correctly, to get any good results...

If someone had the money to build a very good N/A motor, would these be possible to use? I see alot people stating that 350z internals are the same as Maxima internals and that of course almost anything offered for the 350z can be used in our motor, hence there the same engine except ones RWD and the other is FWD.

http://www.hksusa.com/products/?id=3023&rsku=6139

also how bout this Plenum Spacer.. I've seen someone on here who used the 350z IM, would this/could this be used if we went with the 350z IM???

so i'm pretty sure this isnt new... but has anyone tried any of these parts? I know some of the gear heads on this forum, can dish out some thoughts on these upgrades...and if there worth it or not.

@ $3700.00 for pistons and rods. Many other cheaper options. What are you goals, first of all?

My goals;

Goal #1 just do the 3.5swap

Goal #2 mod and tune to run either Meximax setup with Nitrous w/100shot... or JIME's all motor setup and run some high 12's NA,

But the question for the post, if money wasnt a option... "ok ok,, I know it sounds like a wish list" but are these even worth it? I know they offer cheaper alternatives... but anyone using aftermarket pistons and rods yet in there 3.5swaps??? If so what are the gains...

I wouldn't say there are any WHP 'gains' if you stick w/stock sized pistons. They would only be expensive insurance.

No one with a 3.5 swap has gone with aftermarket internals, to date. Aftermarket rods aren't necessary IMO unless you plan on revving to 8000 RPM and beyond on a regular basis. The pistons i'd get only if i wanted high compression or low-compression for boost. BTW, you can run nitrous safely and successfully on a high compression motor, but the tuning needs to be a little more conservative. Either way, a must-have component at the very least are ARP rod bolts.
