Exhaust Leak Help

I recently put in new exhaust gaskets from the y-pipe back. After this I noticed that the sensor pipe to b-pipe connection isn't sealed and exhaust is leaking at the side facing the ground.

I was wondering if anyone had ideas on how to get the gasket to stick to either flange so that I wouldn't have that leak. It seems that the flanges are too far apart at the bottom (ground facing) part for the gasket to seal.

Anyone with solutions or who have gone through this problem please chime in.

you have to tighten the bolts with an impact to get it to seal. mine leakes as well for the same reason.
