i only had time to run once. next time my friend and i will arrive earlier. i ran up against an older (pre 97?) prelude. my reaction time sucked big time because i ran over the staging light forcing me to back up (pretty nervous). so the yellows fired up within seconds. here are my times:
RT .935 (gag)
60' 2.356 (stock tire pressures)
330 6.419
1/8 9.774 @72.99mph
990 12.593
1/4 15.126 @91.65mph
i need much more practice with the lights (all mental really). i would like to take off a couple tenths and improve on exit speed. it seems difficult but people have done it. the only engine mod i have is a JWT pop-charger. next time i will deflate the front tires and remove my spare. the only things i removed were floormats. after 2nd gear i ran away from the prelude like he wasn't moving. i guess he "stopped driving on me." the prelude's time was 16.549 @ 83.14mph. any comments and advice are welcome.

you ran a 15.1 with only intake........damn...that's pretty good. Get that 60 ft down and you'll almost be in the 14s.

He will be in the 14s, if he gets a 2.2 60-foot that's a high 14.9. And 2.1 is doable...

I am an 98' AUTO, I ran a 15.4 With Just an Intake when I First got the car...

Do you guys ever want to meet at Island Dragway? There we can go up MIN 5 Times in one Night. Unlike the 3 or 5 MAX you get at other Tracks.

*Cough* E-Town *Cough*

Geez...and I thought my car had low mileage. Mine is a '96 with around 45k miles.

two years of college away from home meant my 1997 gxe 5sp was slumbering in the garage..now i drive it a lot more and mileage is catching up. so far only 22,596 as of tonight. i'm thinking of keeping the engine "fresh" and healthy for a future supercharger installation if all goes well with schooling and career. we all have to have some sort of goals right? of course simplicity in life is also a good thing to strive for. now, if i can just get a few tenths faster...
