rear window removal help

I'm trying to take out the glass out of the back door, not the triangular piece, but the part that rolls up and down. I've removed the regulator, but when I get it almost out it's too wide. Anybody with ideas or suggestions?
Thanks!!

+1

I cant ever seem to get it lined back up properly either. The molding is always slightly off every time I have to replace that corner window due to break-ins

I pulled mine without pulling the corner windows

note the miniwindow is still there, but the door glasses are all out.

I was afraid of that. I tried every angle to get it out, but I didn't want to break it. Thanks guys!

My guess is that you are suffering from early Alzheimer and forgot that you took the triangle out and put it back in

The way the thing is shaped (flared at the bottom) makes it very difficult to take in and out. I honestly dont see how you could have taken it out without pulling something else.

of course its hard to tell but maybe you took the frame off. I believe you can take it in and out with only taking the metal frame off but you take the chance of knocking the triangle piece out if you do that and if you go that far you might as well just pull the triangle glass out while you do the work since nothing is left to hold it in at that point anyway.

believe me, the triangle was still in there, I didn't know how to take it off, but the window glass did come out.
never had to put one back in so on reinstall.
but it is 100% possible to pull it out.
if John ever signs on he can tell you the triangle was still there including it's frame, not sure if kyle noticed it or not, but he's not around much anymore.

Without taking the vent glass out, the window is at risk..

I know for a fact that it is possible to remove the window without touching the triangle piece. I just replaced 2 regulators(one front one rear). Yes it is a little tight, but you just have to tilt and wiggle.

Why did you take off your glass to replace a regulator ??

not sure why some of you guys had to removed the triangular windows, I didn't. I just unscrewed the glass from the regulator track then jiggle it out. It was pretty easy, probably easier than the front. When you put it back on, make sure you line up with the door tracks. I was blinded when I did mine, it took me a while to figure out why that thing wouldn't roll all the way up for a while. yup fun heh?
