Passenger side door arm (very Stiff)

Does anyone know a solution to this? My passenger side door is very stiff to open when it gets to a certain point. I think it's my door arm because i heard the arm rubbing off the metal.

do i need to replace the arm? Maybe?


AND DO NOT SAY SPRAY SOME WD-40 CUZ I DO THAT EVERY 5 DAYS.

If anyone has had this problem let me know. Thanks.

WD-40 will wear off every 5 days.....I know that at many shops they have special lube that they put in the door. Next time you bring your car in...just ask them to lube up the hinge.

Have you tried spraying some white lithium grease, or taking it off and greasing it? WD40 works for a bit, then is worthless, in my experience.

i too have this same problem but only on my passenger door. I actually thought it was involved in an accident at one time since it got so bad (people struggled with one arm to close it). I'd also like an answer because I dont think it's possible to pull that arm out without taking off the inside part of the door.

there is a tsb on them. i dont know the fix but there is one none the less.

Try using thick bearing grease. The stuff doesn't disappear after five days.

Downside: a lil messy while applying the stuff, but does a great job lubricating the joints in the doors

Well this weekend I'm taking the door apart with the arm to see what's going on.

Hate the noise it makes, so since i can't find a solution on here, i'll make one. :
