Rsf50a tranny rebuild

Rsf50a tranny rebuild

Need new bearings for my transmission 5 speed out of my 1991 maxima one of the bearings is making noise got it apart and cannot find bearings at all. Talking about bearings on output shaft main shat and differential.

I would suggest getting a 5-speed from a 92-94. The ones that are on the VE's. Those transmissions are much stronger and have a limited slip! They will bolt right up, mine did. Although... you do need newer axles and hubs. But if you plan on keeping the car it would be worth while.

I've burned up a vg transmission at 130,00, put in a rebuilt vg tranny and burned that 20,000 miles later,tried rebuilding that and it failed really soon after. Put in a VE trans with 210,00 miles! And works perfect! After rebuilding both vg's and VE's I can tell ya rebuilding the VG will not be worth it. Now, can I eleberate anymore???

As I said on the other forum, our car does not have an output shaft. all of the parts you need are listed on the link you provided.
