BCM shorted causes nonstop beep

Hi all, I have such a problem: I shorted out my bcm relay circuit from the trunk (behind the plastic cover), this caused a nonstop beep when the bcm relay is attached, so I need to detach the relay from the socket to stop the beep sound. Hazard light, turn signal, keyless entry are all working, but the problem is that when I lock my door the turn signals do not flash, what should I do? Would it help if I replace the BCM under the dash? I'm not sure so I want to hear from some people had this experience before, thanks guys!

how did you short it out? doing what? where's the beep coming from and are you positive you shorted out the bcm? I shorted the bcm once doing electrical stuff but it affected my interior lighting...when i'd shut my doors, my lights would never go off inside. i've never had your problem but i'd make replacing it the last thing you do. The bcm is a $900 part from the dealer and it's hard to find one nowadays. You need the exact year of your car and it needs to come from the correct transmission. I'm not really sure, but the climate control also matters in this case as well.

I think I shorted it when I put a horn on it, instead of a buzzer, the horn take higher amps from the current so somehow when I put back the buzzer it won't sound, and even if I remove everything I put on. My interior lights are working fine, non stop beep sound comes from under the dash, it should be the same buzzer as the one beep when you put the key in 2nd slot but didn't close the door. hope that helps. If flashing is the only problem, should I just put on an aftermarket alarm instead of replacing the bcm?

Is it always making the beep sound only when the key is in the ignition? A problem with the door switch would cause the beep and also the alarm not to activate.

It beeps without pulse even the key is not in igntion. When this happen I was only messing with the bcm relay in the trunk so it shouldn't be the door switch imo..
