Keyless entry(the clicker)

After 10 years of owning the Maxima, the keyless entry keychain attachment broke. Tried using epoxy, no good. Where can I find a replacement without going to the dealer?? How easy is it to program the new one to work on my car?

Does the replacement do everything the original did, like remotely opening the windows??

They sell a direct replacement that I believe is OE so it should. the one I bought was their slimmed down version, and yes it controls the windows. However with the unit I bought you have to hold down the panic and unlock at the same time. The OE works like the original.

i just took the extra leather for my door inserts and made a skin that fits snuggly around the fob, cut holes where the buttons are and put a metal ring at the bottom where a keyring can slide into, matches my interior and no need for a new fob
