How can I fix small rust spots?
I have 10 or so small rust spots on the roof of my car. The actual rust spots are probably only a milimeter or so wide and then it has sort of stained the paint around it about the size of a dime. Is there any way I can get rid of these? Could I wire brush them out and then use touch up paint? What sort of touch up paint should I get? The original color probably wouldn't work because I'm sure my paint has faded some. My car is white. Thanks for the help!
Without seeing pictures I'd say try a clay bar and see how much it helps cleaning up the area around it. As for the rust spots I'd try to sand them down (maybe a small Dremel/grinder attachment?) and hit them with touch up paint
The smaller the better.

You have to get the rust cleaned out before you paint over it or it will just rust through again. I'd sand it , then treat it with naval jelly, clean it and then touch it up with paint. Luckily the roof isn't terribly noticeable if the color's off.

In the engine compartment, on the center of the firewall is a silver tag with the vin number and other numbers. One of the numbers on this tag is a code number for the paint color ( it's labeled as such). Just take this number to the dealer or look on line for paint sellers. For these small spots, I'd just look at a touch up jar.
