Okay if you didn't get it yet, don't! Never trust ebay stuff with turbo/supercharger kits, anything that seems too under priced you shouldn't buy. If you are truly truly interested in going with forced induction look in the 4th gen classifieds and you'll be able to find supercharger and turbocharger kits that will actually work.

Plus the way the vq is stock it can't take 27 psi. IIRC most people run under 10 psi on daily drive maximas.

as good as it looks, its not a bolt on kit. it even says UNIVERSAL kit for maximas. real turbo kits run for 5 grand like the PFI. 900 bux? ya right.

buy an EVO/ WRX/ STI/ GTO and all the other letters in this world and you can give them a hell of a run.

h22 engine has 200hp stock but aftermarket world is rather small compared to other cars. i think for it to be 13.7 the owners had to put in $5k aleast into a FI to get it there. unless your talking about a swaped h22 into a eg/ek then why not swap a 3.5 in there, aleast then its fair.

1.6L civic ~>2.2L engine
3.0 maxima ~> 3.5 4th gen

fair game and you will give it a run for the money. cheaper then boost. but judgeing by the way you speak and ask questions a lot of this stuff is over your head.

as far as a kit no but a good shape garrett t3/t4 will net you reliability and quality for around 200 bucks for the turbo, go buy youreself a a welder and crap load of exaust pipe a a air to air or air or air to water intercooler approiate flanges a FMU to keep from lean and 5 psi of boost / a range or 2 colder spark plugs, will get you at least 50-60 WHP on stock computer management becuse nissans can actually compensate for boost pressure w/stock ECU but not much like i said 5-7 psi on stock street motor on 93 octane all this for under 900 bucks way uinder 900 bucks

Actually that is not a bad looking kit. If I didn't have all my stuff I would have gotten it. That is if I did not research. It would have to be a name brand turbo though and I don't know how much all that stuff comes up to individually with shipping, but it seems all the little nicknacks like t clamps and such.. You still need gauges, wideband o2 and fuel/engine management. Not sure if they have a fmu pictured or not but you'll need a boost controller too. Maybe you can check the price of all the parts with shipping or ask how much the kit is without the no name turbo. Either way you still have alot of reading to do about boost. If you don't have alot of money s/c is fairly cheaper and more simple.

You gotta pay to play. With cars, the adage, "You get what you pay for" holds very true. If you can't afford quality parts, don't even start down the path of FI.

If you cannot afford to replace a blown engine or transmission at any given time, do NOT get forced induction. Stay N/A, its cheaper that way.

Thnaks alot guys for your opinions. From what i see the kit is not complete and i understand that i will need to do engine management. What i don't get is if your tuning an n/a wouldn't swapping a more compression head on the vq give it more compression like their doing to the g37 i think 11:0.1 or sumthin... anyway wouldn't that be similar too boost...except its a lot easier because in order to boost high you need low compression and in order to for an n/a to be fast it needs high compression right? So is that not the easy way? like the vq35 and the vq40. Higher up the compression then tune everything else?? I think im going to do they 3.5 swap pretty soon. But is it hard? Can i still have a/c because it is HOT in Florida.

THe VQ37 doesnt make more power just because it has higher compression ratio..its quite a different engine then the standard issue VQ35.

If you have to ask how hard the VQ35 swap is..then theres a good chance its going to be too much of a job. Its not a simple task, especially doing it on your own, you must have a good set of tools, and all the equipment. Also its not a direct bolt in, you gotta make some decisions before, whether you decide to keep the 3.0 timing equipment and heads, and etcc..

Check the all motor forum, theres a huge write up on it, along with all the info you could ever need.

Honestly, if you dont have a lot of money, forced induction is NOT for you, i know other people already stated this, but i was once you like, wanted to go the cheap route, if it produced almost as good results, but i realized its not the way to go, because with turbos, all it takes is 1 thing to self destruct your engine.

Why would anyone in their right mind keep the 3.0 heads when swapping?

Makes it more of a sleeper. When people see my car their like u drag race that... and then i am like yea lets go for a ride and then their like wow it moves for a big boat. Imagine their facial expression when they see the 3.5 run and they think its a 3.0 liter n/a. 4th gen is light... very bad to crash in crumples right up.

How does keeping 3.0 heads make it more of a sleeper?? It's not like you can see the heads just by looking at the car...

And crumples right up?? The design of the front end is akin to that of a tank.

Seriously? Well, if you want the ultimate sleeper, make sure you get a set of Spoon johnson rods for an H22 and drop those bad boys in; that ish will make you crazy fast.
