Its looks and the fact that it can take corners better than I would have ever imagined. In fact, when I first got it I didn't like it. Back then I had a 89 325is, and I thought nothing was better. Then I stuck a sway bar and a strut brace on it and shortly afterwards sold the bmw.

The exterior styling and the engine.

But what I DON'T like is the fact that my 99 won't run right now. The engine turns over but it won't start. From what I read on the forums, the immobilization system might have been set off for some reason.

I drove my max to a grab some food the other day and when I tried to start it to leave, the engine started briefly then died. This happened 3 more times and currently it just turns over and does not even start. When I turn the key to the on position, the security light to the left of the steering column that usually flashes stays on. I thought I read somewhere that this means the NVIS has been activated. Is this true? You guys think the immobilization thing is my problem?

Sorry if this seems off topic. The anti-spam rule won't let me post a new message

The looks I get when people see a modified Maxima. Most Maximas around here are stock or have 20's on them and sit high as ever. And that it is my 4 door sports car.

Amen. And what's better is when you do things better than other people in your modded car...like driving and using your blinker.

They way I feel like a 'King' when I drive it compared to other cars. You feel important.

Also, they way she looks, her curves and styling. I always have people, whether its a tuner or a regular person, comment on her looks. Especially when I goto the dealership and the salesmen see her. They all look and comment on her, and I don't even have a lip kit. People are usually suprised when I explain that it is a 1998, and with 162,000 miles! They think shes brand new!

I also love her reliability, safety, comfort, and most of all...not only is it a Nissan, but its a Maxima!
