Need some quick clarrification on tranny lines

I just need to clarify if Line 1 is the line in and if Line 2 is line out. My lines from my tranny connect to the opposite sides of the radiator that are shown in the picture so I wanted to clarify that the connection to the radiator doesn't matter and that Line 1 would always be in and Line 2 would always be out. Thanks.

The top hose is always out and should connect to the left side of the radiator as if your facing the car. The bottom hose is always in and connects to the right side of the radiator.

so this picture is not correct really? Since the top connects to the right and the bottom to the left? Does it matter which side the hoses connect to on the radiator? I've never looked into the flow pattern of the radiator

I don't think it matters for a radiator, but if you were hooking up an external tranny cooler I would recommend what I said.
