07 maxima headlight aiming

is there only one adjustment screw for this? for some odd reason the headlights are uneven. the pass side is lower than the drivers side. so the projectors definitely look lopsided. can anyone confirm that there is just one adjuster screw? thanks

dizmax96 - I'm not the one you need to hear from, but there are others here who will be able to give you specifics.

I CAN say there are TWO adjustment screws for each headlamp (one for vertical and one for lateral), and according to several inquiries I have seen here over the past four years, the second adjustment screw is not as easy to see as the first one.

Your beams are definitely off. The passenger's side is supposed to be slightly higher than the driver's side, not lower. The driver's is lower to reduce the amount of brightness shining into the eyes of the drivers of oncoming vehicles.

I had my dealer lower both my beams below factory specs the first month I had my '04 SL, and oncoming drivers then stopped flashing me. These beams are definitely bright.

alright ill look into it. maybe its behind the fenderliner. i wasnt sure if there were 2 screws or not, though all years up to 03 i knew for sure there were 2 screws. i can definitely see one of the adjustment screws when lookin under the hood. the second one im not too sure. anyone else like to comment on this matter? i would appreciate it. thanks

I'm busy posting replies until I hit the magic #15 and can post a thread. Does anyone know how to change the daytime running light on a 2004 maxima? I'm a canuck and have the $1.29 1156 bulb but the socket is hidden behind a plastic stiffener and I can't access it?

Thx
