I did mine last night. Next time I buy a ball-peen hammer and a mallet. Damn rear rotor wouldn't come off. Nothing an early morning trip to the guys with the lift couldn't fix. I got the Rotorpros similar to the ones pictured here and the EBC redstuff pads.

 

Nice. They go with your wheels perfectly. It's about time for me to throw on some new pads and rotors since mine are wearing down now. How much were your's and where'd you pick them up?

Did you paint the blue Nissan lables on your calipers or are they decals?

 

Did you get the Axxis Ultimate pads also? I just ordered mine last week. Hows the stopping power over OEM?

I paid $430 for mine a few days ago. That included brake pads, rotors, and ss lines.

So with these new slotted and drilled rotors, do you notice a difference between the stock rotors? I've been thinking about getting tint on my car, then upgrading the brakes because the brakes feels kinda soft compared to some of the other cars I've driven.

I would love to get some Brembo brakes, or even some Stoptech brakes, but I also don't feel like putting that much money into a car that I probably won't keep for a while...

 

Oh man there is a huge diffrence from OEM!! Talk about stoping on a dime!!

I paid 300 for them since they are here in Southern Cal I just picked them up from them an saved on the shipping.

Yeah bro they look hot. Has anyone seen those drilled and slotted on ebay from rotorwork? What about those? I mean.... they are a lot cheaper then 430 (About a hundred), And they look decent. Any news on these damn things. Thanks!!

I got a trick for the stubborn rotors that won't come off. It cost me $1 at Home Depot. I got a LONG bolt and nut. You put the long bolt through the hole on the back...the hole that the caliper was bolted to. Then you put the nut on the bolt...on the other side of the hole (on the side facing the rotor). Spin the bolt on and use 2 wrenches to tighten the bolt. The bolt *should* just push the rotor off as you tighten it. I did it on 2 of my stubborn rotors when installing the new rotors from the GD thread. It almost scared me a few times because the rotor literally pops off. I banged on a couple rotors for an hour and then found this trick to take like a minute...saved me a trip to the shop.

Another trick if rotor is frozen is to put wheel back on, put nuts on and then back them off one turn. Go forward and back a few times at 3 mph and brake firmly. You sometime can hear/feel the 'pop'.

 

how long should these pads last before they need replacement and did you flush out the fluid

 

I still think the long bolt and nut trick is the quickest and easiest solution...
