I talk'd to some guy at Carbinfiberhoods.com and he said that they will make us a hood.. @ 400$ each.. but we need ten orders.. i'm gonna start a GB once i get all the specs.. like lbs and all that stuff.. so i'll keep the info posted as it comes along..

 

yea that seems interesting im looking forward to that group buy... find out how much or original one weighs and how much the new one will weigh... thats a great price imo

 

That is a good price, most of the hoods for preludes, and other honda's are $550 to $650.

 

For $400, definitely count me in.

We could solve our problems of finding a good source of cool air for the engine. Then we can have some one design a nice intake to take the air off the scoop into the engine. Not only will we have the ram air effect, but it would also be very cool. Just a thought, I am not a engine guy, but it might work. Also it could give the Maxima a nice aggresive look similar to a Transam or something.
