Basically as title sais looking for safe place to run power wire thru firewall on 6th gen to power up some goodies directly from battery. If you got pics or link to page with pics that would help. I found wires behind the hood release that seem to go thru firewall but didnt find where they came out on other side, what i was considering was to the left of the brake pedal and a litle more up where there is just painted metal (prob take pic to show).

 

Is a it stick or Auto,cause if is auto you can run it through the whole where the the clutch peddle would go ,if you remove the carpet in that area ,you will feel a little indentation ,that would be safe to drill through.

 

thanx i think thats the area i was reffering too. My old max had some wires running thru a rubber groument that i was able to run the power line thru so I didnt have to drill any holes.

 

Make sure you use a rubber groumet to run any wires through the firewall and use as tight a fit as possible.

 

Whats all this test reply stuff? Is it just to get a higher post count,
