Wonna rewire my fogs

Few questions... When I cut the fog relay which part do I connect to the wire im adding?? The part still connected to the relay or the peice i cut off?? Also what type of wire should I use to connect the relay to the bumper lights?? Using this as my reference http://www.vqpower.com/v2/readarticle.php?article_id=31

Connect the new wire to the relay side wire it says it in the write up

"You want to cut this wire, make sure to leave yourself enough wire on the relay side of the wire to splice into. Once the wire is cut, tape off the +12V wire with electrical tape (this is the half of the wire that isn't attached to the relay)"

As for the wire I used a 12 or 14 guage wire, it was way too big so i recommend something much thinner than that. Hopefully someone knows the exact size of the OEM wire.

oh btw when im connected it do i need a postive and neg wire? Or what.... Cause when Im connecting it to my fogs istn there a red blue and a red wire or maybe a black for ground?

you don't need to reground..

what you are doing is your are getting the power from another source...

I did this in a matter of 20 minutes... the longest part was getting getting the fuse box to seperate from each other ( top and bottom part)..

did it last night will post pics when I get a chance pretty simple lol first it didnt work i was like wtf then lol i was like where the hell are the relays worked great.. Thanks guys now to fit these is300 capsules in my fogs

Yeah I want to retro my fogs as well. The fog rewire is a straigt forward install and very easy hope everything worked out well.
