I did buy the Calibre DL-P Hidden bluetooth wireless detector with front and rear pods.
And the wireless LD 5500-BT laser defuser for my wifes new Lexus RX-350.

This detector will beep or use voice. In beep mode there are 2 diodes, one means front threat and other means rear. I personally think it's better in voice mode than the Valentine because you can hit the brakes and keep you're eye on the road rather than looking at arrows.
In voice mode the detector voice says radar or laser front threat or rear.
Everything is controlled by a small remote so you can see what you're doing.

The only wires are a relayed protected power wire to battery. the rest of the system including the laser diffuser are all wireless.
This is an awesome system, totally hidden, undetectable and very accurate.

The only negative is the price but!. one nasty ticket with fines and points along with your insurance co doing the old soap on a rope trick will practically pay for most of the detector. Don't forget your insurance screws you for 3 years.
