6th gen 6 speed manual headers....

well upon further inspection my cats are clogged to shhhhhiiiit, going to replace them with aftermarket headers but there are none out for a 6 gen 6 speed yet

should the altima se-r headers work fine as long as they were made for a 6 speed manual altima?

thanks

Chris.

No.... the cat that came with them has to be replaced $$$.... and install costs $$$$ and im in -$$$$ so life sucks for me.

And my stock cats are all jammed up and one got sucked back in to the motor so nissan has to swap the motor and replace the stock cats before I got and install thease on my car.

How do you exactly know that the cats are clogged?

got sick of trying to figure it out dropped it off at nissan, they want 3290 to replace the manifolds/y pipe and stock catback because they claim the cat material has clogged the stock mufflers

well altima headers with egr port will fit 6 speed max with no problem. Finish my cousin install with the reg altima headers( no egr) a couple weeks ago. had no fitment issue with them so the ser version shouldn't give none either.

Why not fix the problem at hand? i.e. why did the cats fry in the first place?

Clogged cats? Never heard of that. So should we all expect them to be clogged by 100,000 miles?

can't find the link of the ones i bbbbbought since it was like 3 months ago but they are the same as these eBay Motors: Nissan Altima 02 03 04 05 06 V6 3.5L Exhaust Headers (item 280141521014 end time Aug-15-07 07:39:03 PDT)
we have the egr plugged right now but goin to get the welded at the end of the month. and yes we do have a check engine light on.
the reason they don't fit the auto's without modification is that the starter is pointed towards the headers on the auto.
