ok, everytime i wash the Max, i cannot get the water spots out. They are big ones too...it was there before i had it ok? and compound and waxing didnt work very well...and i was wondering if it was in the paint or something. I was thinking of using the new Ice bar thats out. I dont know, i hate it.

Try using clay bar. I think that stuff should take out the water spots. Mother's clay bar or Meguiar's clay bar.

That's your best bet Try it out and don't forget to read over this if it's your first time using clay bar.

I personally use Magic Clay. It's the same exact thing, only less expensive and a bigger piece of clay (100 mg as opposed to Mother's 80 mg). I picked it up for $11.00 at Autozone and the Mother's clay bar was ON SALE for $18.00. I've also heard that Mother's clay is hard to work with.

If you already tried a 'compound' ( I assuming it was a polishing compound) and it didn't come out, a clay bar won't help.

I'd suggest numerous applications of a medium polish. Do you have a PC or rotary?

PC = Porter Cable random orbit polisher
rotary = circular polisher like a grinder

A machine will generally provide better results than doing it by hand.

Clay Magic FTW! Cheaper than the name brand stuff and does the same thing.
