Hey guys, i removed that annoying fading vinil off the pillars (as many of youe guys already have). I used goo-gone to get the left-over adhesive off. Very nice!

That looks so good! Your doors look exactly like mine will after I do this. Any tips for when I remove the vinyl?

I'd say just let your car sit in the sun (the hotter, the better). Then gently start pulling on the vinyl from the inside of the door. The slower you pull, less adhesive will be left behind. You can also use some adhesive remover that's available @ any auto parts store.

Use a blow dryer to heat it up.

The black is vinyl. It peels off. It's not easy, but it comes off and underneath is body color. Already cleared and awaiting wax.

Use a blow dryer to get it hot and pick at a corner to start the peeling process. Be patient and don't use any metal tools.

i did this like when i first got the car...I thought it was cool to do something but regretted it later because my windows are tinted pretty dark and this just made an interruption in the front and rear windows.
I'm gonna try to get the CF pillars.

Didn't even notice it was peel-able
Well, now that you have it off, it's a perfect time to get a carbon fiber overlay

Yea, it does look better on the dark colors. White....not so good. Especially with dark windows.

Nice job man. The only thing I think would set it off would be having black window trim instead of chrome... but thats just my two cents.
